Scott's professional interests include contextualization of the Christian faith, issues related to phenomenology (folk religions, spiritual warfare), and technology in missions (especially information technology and the use of the Internet). Personal interests include reading novels and working around the house. He teaches courses in the Intercultural Studies department in contextualization, folk religions,
intercultural communication, cross-cultural teaching and learning, spiritual conflict, and trends in missions.
